HELP!! there was a fire and i dont know what to do!? -

okay so my parents own like a small bed and breakfast. its like a small family thing, but there were customers over tonight and they started a fire in the house. My parents an i have no idea what to do! do we go to the police? we put out the fire and everyone is okay but now like everythngs burnt up and i we dont know what to do, like have them pay for the damages, how do we know how much we have to charge them? it was a pretty big fire, and theyre saying the ll pay for damages but what if they dont pay or something. or what if they do pay but not enought to cover the damages!?!?! PLEASE HELP!!! =[
