Importing from India/China? -

Hi..I want to start importing products in bulk from India and China for sale in the UK.Can anyone give me any simple guidance and advice for this, as it s not something I have ever done before.What s the best way to go about it? What about import duties/taxes? How do you ensure safety of money, and product delivery when dealing with companies in India and China? Any useful information would be gladly received!
