Can you be a self starter without know the proper objective/procedure of the job? -

So, you don t know what the job is only that a self starter is needed for it. Do you know who the employer is? Do you know what the employer does? This info would go a long way into supposing what kind of job it actually is but I would venture to say that you know what the job description is you just left that conveniently out. And you are trying to figure out if you want to respond to an ad about a job somewhere, or not. Let me say this, a self starter looks for reasons to want to go the extra mile not reasons to keep from working hard.

yes, for a limited period of time; you are a self starter when you getto work on time and appear at your desk/work station on time.and if you seek the employee manual and ask what the jobtasks are.and start doing them as best you can.some companies offer no training whatever and the onlyones who survive are the SELF starters; they figure out whatis required of them and start doing it and do it better and better.

YES.A self starter is a term of art that means nearly the same thing as self-motivated. You do not wait to be told to get to work, you take assertve steps toward getting your work done without waiting for instruction. A self starter who doesn t know what needs to be done will take assertive steps toward learning what needs to be done.A self starter who does not know what self starter means will come on Yahoo Answers and ask.
