It means to use it in or for a business, usually with financial gain. Items meant for personal use withstand far less wear and tear than those items intended for commercial use. They tend to be very durable and stand up to constant use. Some items for personal use (ie. scale) may not be as precise or may not meet same standard or requirements as those that have commercial applications. If there is damage to something or someone due to misuse of a product (such as using it for something that is was not intended for) you could be liable.
Lets say it is a lawn mower.If for your personal use ,you use it one day and then you put it up until the grass needs cut again. In commercial use,you use it every day 6-8 10-hours a day 5 or 6 days a week.That is why they put that on the warrenty.
