Im thinking about starting a Mobile Detailing business. Are the profits worth the amount of...? -

...labor it takes?I love making my car nice and shiney and want to do that as a business. But I know how much work it is to detail a car. I also know that people get about $45.00-$75.00 but I do not know how much business this kind of work brings in. I live in the Orlando area if that helps. So is it worth it?

You might want to wait a bit. You see we re in a bit of an economic depression right now.The first things people start skipping are the luxuries, like car detailing. A lot of us have LOTS of free time (Aka as no job), so we have a lot of time and little money. So we get out the toothbrushes and Windex and do it ourselves.Also you may want to consider the hazards. You re working all day on your knees in funny positions using all kinds os smelly solvents and detergents. After a month or so you could develop serious knee and back and carpal-tunnel problems, not to mention allergies to the various cleaning agents.I d suggest you stay in school and learn something a bit less hard on the old body.
