What happens if you buy a product on ebay but you never get it because it was a scam? -

Will you ge tthe money back?I need a macbook pro but I don t have enough money to buy it from apple or other retailer so I was thinking about buying it from ebay.I don t have an account so I don t know how it works. How can you be sure you re not going to be scammed?thx

No, you will most likely NOT get your money back. If you got scammed, WHO do you think is going to give it to you?? The ONLY way to guarantee that you will NOT get scammed is to buy from a legit dealer. You get yourself into trouble when you go online to save a few bucks. If you insist on buying online, two things should make you run away from the deal, they are Nigeria or Western Union . If those come up AT ALL during the sale, you are being scammed. Actually, stay away from ANYTHING being sold from outside the USA.

First set up an ebay account, then a paypal account. If you use paypal there is protection for you if things go wrong; they refund you if it turns out you have been scammed (I have had a refund from paypal so I know they do this). Second, research the dealer and the deal. If it looks too good to be true it probably is. Check the seller s feedback to make sure they have plenty of + fb for similar items. Check the item location agrees wiith the seller location. And ALways check postage and handling fees as some dealers will use these to bump up the price. Good luck

I would pay with Paypal and probably only in your country you are from. The reason Paypal is good in situations like Ebay is because they have some type of thing where you can get money back if you didn t receive the item. It is also good to MAKE sure you get a tracking number of some kind.

Where can I get cheap business cards? -

... and how much will it cost? I could get by with just 500, but would pay a little more for 1,000.

If you have an ink jet or laser printer, you can make good cards using Avery Clean-Perf Business Cards and the free software available from their website.

Try out PrintGlobe.comThey have an excellent selection of low-cost value business cards to customize.Their Thrif-T-Cards cost less than $90 for 1,000 cards. You ll get professional looking cards for a competitive price.

Hi! I am a GemStyle consultant and just ordered some business cards from Vistaprint.com This is the third time I ve ordered from Vistaprint and have never been disappointed! Vistaprint has quality business cards and the best part? You can get your first 250 for free...just pay shipping and handling. Check them out! I m sure you won t be disappointed! www.gemstyle.com/melissacardenaswww.thriftynursewife.blogspot.com

www.myezprinter.com Thick 14pt. cards with UV ... priced lower than everybody. Free cards are a bad idea because the printer puts thier logo on back...and then you go around handing out cards that everyone knows you got for free...then they start to question your professionalism, and whether or not you are just starting out and have no money, or are just the type that cuts corners on everything you do.You have to assume that your competitors business cards make him look like he s on top of his game, and you must match or exceed that image, or you wont be getting the calls. You can gain a competitive advantage if you use the back of your card to either give an incentive, or tell more detail about what you do or a fact that says why you are best.Good Luck!

There are sites which will do you 500 for free in the first instance if you shop around. But generally buying 1000 from a printer is more cost effective than just 500

You can get 100 free ones here.http://www.overnightprints.com/affdeal10

Car Wash business,questions? -

Ok im 19 and a student and i want to start small car wash business. My approach is unique, im going to bill customers monthly, 50$ and i will wash their car once a week. Including a car wash, with detail, vacuum and leather treatment. My questions are, do you think using their water hose and electricity will work? Also, how should I bill them? because they might not want to pay the 50 up front, and if I wait a month they might scam ME.

Always have them pay you after the detail is done or your gonna spend half your time chasing down and collecting payment if they even pay. And $50 for 4 wash/details per month?? Are you sure you don t mean $50 per wash? That s a more realistic number for a basic exterior wash/dry and a basic wipe down of interior and vacuum. Their water and electricity will work for you if you explain that to them up front. Or you could do what I do and use a No Rinse wash. Takes me 2 gallons of water to do entire vehicle. I just go to the store and buy 2 gallons of distilled water and use that. Also, letting them know you would only wash their vehicle with distilled water to prevent water spots makes you stand out. Just explain you will need an outlet to run your wet vac and ask them if that would be a problem. I ve never had a customer say no. Don t let that stop you from starting your business. If you have any questions or would like to know what products I use send me a message. Good luck to you.

No, using their stuff won t work. Not all would have outlets where it would be convenient for you. You d be better off investing in a pickup truck with water tank and a generator. THEN you run into the problem of the gray water discharge, as a lot of communities now have BIG concerns regarding the dirty water runoff into regular storm drains. As for your billing... You bill them PER WASH, but with a monthly discount of say, 10% (i.e. buy X washes now and get 10% off)And you are seriously undercharging, IMHO. Even running a car through the gas station wash is like 5-10. A premium car wash where you get the vacuum and hand-dry is $20. And there are at least 4 weeks per month. $50 a month is WAY TOO CHEAP. Another possibility: basic car wash package, premium car wash package, full detailing. $50 gets 3 basic washes (once per week) and 1 premium wash. You can give coupons for discounts on other packages or services. You will need insurance... in case of accidents and damages to customer vehicles, and some locations, such as company parking lots, may not allow you to wash there. Keep that in mind.

While your approach is unique to car washing, it s a pretty common business model for pool boys and lawn care type businesses. Try talking to some local lawn mowing or pool cleaning business owners in your community. They may have some type of contract, form, etc.
