Buy second hand carpets at auction, cut it to make bath mats and toilet mats.I used to recycle used carpets like that and made a pretty good whack (More in 4 hours than my weekly income from work - about 350 to 450 UK Pounds).Another tactic is to go at 5am and buy all the baby clothes you can find, up until about 8am - then set up a store and sell them at a more reasonable price.I could spend about 10 pounds for clothes, and sell them for more than 300. What I had left over, I d sell to a local shop dealing with second hand clothes.Just for fun, I once bought 10 gas lighters for a pound, and set them up for 30p each, or 3 for a pound. The guy I bought them from sat at his stall opposite mine (2 metres distant) and laughed a lot - I sold more than he did. About 9 out of 10 people bought 3 for a pound instead of twigging, 30p each is cheaper!

Any ideas for a school store? -

I am manager of the school store at my school and i was wondering if anyone had any ideas-- what to sell, how to decorate, right now we have alot of candy.. But we really need some good ideas, suggestions or examples

At my achool store we sell alot of snacks like chips, and cookies and such for like $.50 and it sells like crazy ! Students like that kind of snacks to eat during the day. :) You should also sell like pencils and folders and notebooks becuase that kind of stuff everyone needs at school and they sell becuase when people run out they rather go to the school store because of convience. not knowing what type of school ie High School, Middle School or elementary school it would be hard to give you specific ideas but to start,t-shirts,sweats, shorts with school logo, pencils,erasers paper notebooks again maybe with school logo or mascot, sometimes as far as money you can get businesses to sponsor the school and donate items or at a much lower cost if your school has the budget to purchase things like these. Then there are things like teddy bears (stuffed animals) with your school name etc.

Why dont buyers leave feedback? -

Isn t it so annoying on amazon,ebay,half.com, and wherever else when the buyers dont leave feedback? It just makes me wanna grab them by the neck and force them to click the simple positive feedback button.Maybe its not just me..

I guess for the same reason that rarely anyone chooses a best answer on YA! : they just WANT something and don t care about the effort that others expend to provide what they want.

Once upon a time, feedback on eBay answered two simple questions. If you were a buyer, did you pay for the auctions you bid on? If you were a seller, was the item delivered as described? Now, it s all messed up. If you are a seller, you can no longer leave negative feedback if someone promises to buy an item and never pays for it. As a result, sellers heed the saying of he who praises everybody praises nobody and tend to not leave feedback for anyone. Buyers have taken the cue that the feedback system has become essentially meaningless and have stopped leaving feedback for sellers. The solution is to write a nasty email to ebay/amazon/half about the sorry state of their feedback system. They regularly distribute the most amusing at their annual Christmas party. Perhaps you can give them a laugh or two.

I know what you mean. I sold on eBay a long time ago and only a handful of people bother. I ve always left feedback whether I ve been a buyer or seller. It takes a moment of my time and I actually like helping other people even in some small way. When I was selling on eBay, I used to tell people that if they let me know when they got the product, that I d be happy to leave feedback right away for them. That did get some people to leave me FB. I never directly asked anyone to do so, though. As a buyer, I always leave feedback except if a seller TELLS me to do so. I like to feel that I m doing something voluntarily, you know. If someone writes me a note saying Positive feedback is much appreciated :) and doesn t order me to do so, I m more than happy to comply.Some people just don t give a flying F about others; it s that simple.

Yea sometimes, but I don t make a big deal... I d be happy if they leave nice comments but I d rather not get any negative comments.

Because no one gives a crap as long as they get the product. That s the way humans are, unfortunately. Too greedy so force any other information into their heads.

Photo studio, start getting contacts.. know more about business.. and get contacts on the field.. The best way yet .. if you have money, Hire 1 -3 professionals (Photographer, make-up, and wardrobe s) then big ad, and you start it.. then you need to hire a real Professional manager in the field and contact other agencies, clubs , promoters , etc.. to start getting jobs and money for your models..Good luck and have a great day ...
