Im 15 years old..How do I start my own tutoring service? -

Im really good at English and Math, and I have a whole year left before I can get a stable job, so I wanted to start my own tutoring service. How do I go about doing this? How much should I charge? Should I charge by the hour or just set my own hours and charge a set amount? By the way, I plan on tutoring people from 3rd grade to 9th grade. (Im in the 10th grade, and when I say I am really smart, I mean REALLLLY smart.! Haha)Im pretty trustworthy, everyone trusts me. So, how do I go about doing this?

Make a resume, first. List your strengths (like English and Math and what subcategory you re really good at like geometry or algebra, etc.), your grades, your GPA and all that stuff. Get some references, too. Preferably from people who can attest to your intelligence, like your teachers. Just ask a couple of your teachers if you can list them as references (all you should need are name, phone number, job title, company/school name and email address) or maybe even get a letter of recommendation that you can show to potential clients . Once you get some regular *satisfied* clients, you can ask them if you can use them as references as well. It ll look even better to future clients if they can get a real testament from established clients. As for getting yourself out there, you can put an ad in the newspaper and you can make up flyers to post up around grocery stores and around town. You can also ask if you can post your flyers up around your school and maybe go around to some elementary schools and see if you can post them there. When you get calls from potential clients, you can always setup a sort of interview with them if they d like where you can show off your resume, your references, and they can talk to you and get familiar with you. Once you have clients, the most important thing is to remain trustworthy. Don t just not show up to a job or goof off while you re supposed to be tutoring. If you re sick, running late, whatever, always call your clients ahead of time to let them know what s going on. Just don t be sick of run late all the time. =o)As for how much you should charge, I d say do it by the hour and work yourself around both your own schedule and the client s. I think clients would be more comfortable that way. Let s just say that you charge by the job (say $100 for the semester). You tutor a child for a week or two and the clients just don t feel like it s working out and they don t need your tutoring services anymore. They re either going to want all of their money back or some of it back. If they want some of it back, it s going to be hard to decide exactly how much they should get back and if they want all of it back, well now you just spent a week tutoring someone with nothing to show for it. In this situation if you charge by the hour, you at least have the money you already earned tutoring their kid and it ll be easier for you to move on. I d say $10 an hour is good rate to start at. That way, even if you tutor a kid 3 times a week an hour a day, that s $120 a month. That s not bad to start out at, especially since you probably have no bills to pay (=oP). If your services really take off, you can probably start charging a little more.So yeah. Just my opinion. Good luck! =o)

I don t know. I know I would never hire someone 15 years old to tutor one of my children.

I do not have any investment but I want to do buisiness. Please tell me a legal and true way want all the ways? -

I do not have money to invest but should not cheat people or govt .Is there any buisiness ?

one of my friend has a business of pvx(web conferencing software) and audio conferencing phones, if u can get leads and close them then u can make a clean profit on it. email him on : blu-tech@live.com****

Absolutely no money? Very difficult to start, best probably as a service. Painting rooms, tutoring ,...A bit of money? Start a second hand computer game business. Buy computer games on eBay at bulk prices. E.g., 50 games for $150. Know what you are getting so that you can be confident that the individual games are quite good. Now unbundle, by selling individual games at 2-3 times your average purchase price (e.g., $6-9). Advertise locally at the supermarket, or small paper, ... . After selling the gems, sell the rest as a bundle, or at very competitive prices. Sell 10 games at $9 = $90Sell 10 games at $6 = $60Sell 20 games at $2 = $40Sell 10 games at $1 = $10Total = $200. Find products that cost little in bulk and which are easy to ship. Not necessarily just games.

I think you have a little problem. Its not possible to generate any real money without investing a little.otherwise the return is so small $0.01 if your looking for a coach check out http://www.jeniwa.com I m being privately coached by an online multi-millionaire. you should toBest regardsAlex

any REAL business is going to require some money

hmmmm u dont have money and want to invest thats a tough one

Is vmcsatellite a work at home scam? -

Looks bogus to me. It seems like they are looking for affiliate marketers - i.e. it s yet another multi-level marketing (MLM) scheme.

It s a typical affiliate program. If you are interested in selling satellites you d be better off looking for one that pays you a monthly commission on the subscription rather than just a one time fee like VMC does. They have a C+ rating with the BBB, but that seems to be because of customer complaints.

If you are looking for easy work at home method, you can use my method. I make good imcone everyday. If you are really serious about work at home you should have a look this method. It is easy if you know right information you can make money online. You can get more information from http://bit.ly/sdfkgb12

Does anyone have any tips for me in my lawncare business? And also any tips on getting new clients? -

Yeah, so any tips just get on new clients. I guess that s simply the way it is

Do you have a web site? Are you on Craigs list. Leave flyer with an actual estimate. Do you do cutting or chemicals? You didn t say. If you do cutting look for good lawns with overly high grass. If you do chemicals look for bad lawns with a lot of good lawns around for leaving flyers.

pass out flyers for get your lawn cut once get the next one free or half off or refer 5 people get a free lawn cut

Should I do this small Business Expo? -

There s a Small Business expo coming up in my little corner of the world. It s an informational expo, only (you can t sell.) But the tables are cheep and its being run by a professional business organization.

I THINK IT IS A GREAT IDEA IT IS GREAT EXPOSURE FOR YOUR COMPANY AND THE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES YOU SUPPLY. I MANAGE A CLOTHING STORE AND TWICE A YEAR THE OWNER FLIES TO VEGAS FOR AN EXPO SHOW TO SEE NEW BRANDS

I need advice!! well, and help...? -

ok so my mom was renting our house and she left some stuff of ours in there like a big tv washing machine and things like that, so they had to pay rent and well my mom waited i told her to go but nobody listens to a kid or teen and so now my mom went and they left with out paying the rent and with all our stuff what should we do? how can we figure out were they went? im so mad right now! aaaaah! please help!

They stole items from the house - that is a police matter, and your mother should contact the police and file a report. If your mom had insurance, the insurance might cover the loss of the items, so she should review the policy to see how to make a claim or to talk with her insurance agent. As for the rent, you can see if they filed a change of address notice at the post office.

If she had a contract she could take them to small claims court, all she has to do is file, and the court system will eventually find them. If she rented it with no contract, no deposit, then its a live and learn situation.

small claims court seems the best way to go and also filing a police report. best of luck

How can I deal with customers that are very rude in my store? -

I really don t appreciate being yelled at like a ******* servant. This is my job and I love my job and I am more than happy to help my customers. There is no need to yell commands at us! What is a polite way to let customers know that I am happy to help. You dont have to be a bytch- the nicer you are to us, the more likely we are to give you the best customer service possible.

you cannot tell them anything. you have to act in an empathetic way that changes their attitude. You have to acknowledge their complaint; apologize sincerely; and, in the most kind way possible, offer to help them solve their problem. That is how you can change their attitude while at the same time ensuring they come back as a customer.some people are better suited at this than others. I am horrrible at it. i want to rip their head off and it usually come across that way.

Refuse service to them
