Hi tamilnadu people, do you know this business secret ? -

The manufacturing price of a commodity irrespective of whether it is a grocery item, vehicle or anything... will usually be maintained as a great secret by the manufacturers. Well, I come to the point without boring. In our state, the prices at which grocery shops sell thuvaram parupu (used for sambar) and ulundham parupu (uruttu) is at its peak now being sold for Rs.92 and Rs.84 per kg approximately. This is the price in supermarkets and big grocery shops. So obviously, in small shops the price will be even more. What is the reason for the skyrocketing prices ? Before four years we were getting these items for Rs.30 per kg. What is the price at which grocery shop owners receive them ?

try to track it back to its source to find out the real price.may be you can become a business man yourself.

The farmer who grows them did not receive any benefit.Who is benefited. ?? ---- Obviously the middle man

Is it legal for a food-business to use Mamp;Ms in their desserts? -

If I wanted to open my own cafe that sold desserts... would I just buy m m s wholesale and use them as a topping? or would i have to get some sort of permission?also... could i alter their product (m m s) by melting them and using the liquid as a topping?i just don t understand what s allowed and what I need permission for

Yes it s legal. You could probably get generic M ms cheaper though.

No, you don t need permission. You may need permission to use their trademark on your menus. But for a small business, you re not likely to face any trouble. As long as you follow proper food handling and local health regulations, do as you please.

as long as you pay for the M M s - it doesn;t matter what you do with them after thatMcDonald s has several brand name candies they use with their ice cream Flurries or whatever they are called

You could use that chocolate, it will not be seen on the dessert because it is already melted.

Who start the killing bussiness? -

Me. I want my two dollars.

I wanna make some money.....and i wanna make it quick...? -

but i dont wanna work at a job unless its making 20 dollars an hour...but if not then i cant work...help me out..........

unless you have a degree or skill that can command that much an hour, your options are very limited.not to be rude but an exotic dancer/stripper about the only thing that i can think of and that would only be limited to someone with experience.

$20 is a lot for an hour if you don t even know what you are going to do for a job.Try and make up a job yourself like cleaning homes or babysitting. Be creative think outside the box maybe try $15 a hour instead at first then over time raise the price.Or you could be creative and make something then sell it at the markets.

I want to be a consultant...? -

like partylite or pampered chef or avon but what others are out there?

Mary Kay, Fantasia, Mela(something), ACN, Amway... there are dozens. These MLMs are money-losers for most consultants. In the vast majority of cases, participants would be better off keeping their enrollment fee and sticking it in an interest-bearing bank account. But if you won t miss a couple hundred dollars if it doesn t work out, might as well give it a go.

I think you need to really weigh your options like I did just months ago in your same shoes. I will share with you the pros and cons I found from each direct marketing company. Send me an email and we can disucss offline in great detail.
