Where Can I Sell My Stuff At 14?? Please Answer? -

OK so i need to make money and i have some things i can sell (my ipod, my clarinet, and some CD s) (i already have another clarinet and another ipod by the way so i don t need the other one.) but i cant go to a pawn shop cause you have to be 18. and my moms a ***** and wont do it for me. so where can i go to sell it without an credit card and crap like that? please help this is really important to me. like REALLY like life n death situation. well yeah.

you could ask around and see if some of your friends/people at school want to buy the ipod or CD s. I don t know about the clarinet though, would a store that sold that type of stuff buy it? I would suggest a yard sale, but it doesn t seem like enough stuff, and its starting to get to a bad time of the year for something like that.

GREAT idea telling a 14 year old to sell something on craigslist guys. SERIOUSLY??? She s 14 - don t RECOMMEND a kidnap cuz thats exactly what will happen if she sells her crap on craigslist. Word of mouth at school would probably be your best bet here hon.

craigslist is for any age, but be aware of scammers and only deal locally. don t agree to checks, take cash only - i mean it. you ll have to meet up with the person. i sold stuff that way. it s free too and easy.

Craigslist XD

put it on craigs list

What about having a yard sale? You could put up flyers for it and have a few friends help you out with it.

I am trying to market my business online. Is there a way to get email addresses by zip code? -

There are firms where you can purchase personnel information like email addresses. They have it broken down into different demographics. Grouped by age, sex, location, etc.Just remember, an unsolicited email from a business is considered SPAM and most people have SPAM filters in their email which would prohibit them from ever seeing your emails.I would think better use of your marketing money would go toward designing a really good web site.

The best way to get email addresses is by list building ( people subscribe to your email campaign). Buying an email list is not that good. Better idea is to have someone promote your business to their email list. There are a lot thing that you can do to get off to the right start.A website is a must but you need to to know how your clients will search for you on the internet first ( what keywords ). And what type of web site to get ( never flash for search engine ranking ). You can get a good website with good SEO (search engine optimization) for around $500+ depending on what your budget is and how much your budget is. Some will run that much plus $150+ for continuing SEO to dominate search engine terms.Video is also a great way to promote your business and search engines love them. I would give a discount or something else for a video testimonial from your clients.Twitter is also a great place to get a good fallowing and promote your business. Don t just promote your business. Make sure to have good content and talk about yourself.Facebook and myspace are also a must.Branding is a must! Get a logo and use local listings like google local and yahoo local. That is a start.

Hello,I do not think it is possible at all. You could ask someone to create emai l database for you, or simply use Google - search for particular businesses in your area and you will see a list of companies - some with websites and / or email addresses. Quite hard work but really pays off.

Selah, aside from the what is SPAM debate, no reputable list broker will sell you e-mail addresses anyway. So unless you find a junk-list broker who has zipcode information (I doubt you will, and like the others here will say that you shouldn t be using those lists anyway), the answer to your question is . . . NO.

thats creepy thank yOU AND ALL BUT ID RATHER NOT HAVE MORE SPAMMAIL THAN DO :]

How quot;easyquot; would it be for us to get a small business loan? -

I would like to get a small business loan. My credit score is 750, my hubby s credit score is 780. The only debt we have is my student loan which is $40K. My hubby and I together bring home 70K after taxes. No kids or any other debt. Our monthly expenses are about $2000.00 because we are renting a cheap apartment for me to pay a lot toward my student loans. What is the average amount people ask for? We were thinking about asking for $50,000. What do you think?

If it s for a business, the business needs to be making money. However amount of money it s making is what thye base the credit / loan amount to be.If you don t have a business making money, you will need investors. To get investors you will need a buisness plan and be convince investors. The bank will give you a loan, but it will be tied up to your personal credit. It s not really a business loan or SBA loan. You are using it for a business, but if biz goes under, so will your credit. Protect yourself. Set up an LLC. Write up a strong buisness plan. Get investors to go along with your vision.Good luck!

Work 4 free to get experience? -

I have wanted to be a fashion designer all my life since I was a kid I ve been designing outfits and have gotten a lot of good responses and complements. I know I m good at this, I m just very confident about this. I ve come up with a plan to start my own thing but due to a lack of funds it s going to take me a good six to eight months before I can branch out on my own with my ideas. Well for now I ve been offered an opportunity to design for someone who has connections in the films industry (mainly low-budget films) but I wont get paid now. She is just getting into this part of the biz, so she has no funds to pay me now - but there is potential for pay in the future. What should I do? I haven t worked in this field ever this could be much needed experience that i might could benefit from. I m just not sure if I want to use my designs for this project when I can use it for my own project in several months. I also keep thinking that I m not getting paid, I don t know if I want to work for free. I m sure this person will get paid but not sure how much she expects to get in her bank account before she thinks it s safe to begin paying me? This is quite a dilemma for me. I m hoping that someone can help me get some clarity on what is a wise choice here. -Thanks for any advise you can offer.

Get a good contract protecting your designs, guaranteeing they remain your property. Also the time you expect to be paid and the percentage.

Help Seasonal Employment.. Where shoulld I work? Best employee discounts? -

I applied at Vicoria Secret, Traffic Shoes and 579. I am looking for a big discount.. I know Victoria secret is 30% but they are overpriced. Does anyone know what stores offer the best discounts? Thank you so much.

Think about why you want to work at the store. If you want an employee discount, consider how much of the inventory you will really buy and why you are buying it (presents for friends/family or for your personal use). If you want a solid paycheck to afford to buy stuff, you might want to consider other places. For employee discounts, an electronics store or book store might be a better selection for holiday gifts. Those stores will cover more people than clothing stores will. Another option is grocery stores that offer employee discounts-holidays come and go, but you have to eat all year long.

Where can i get a list of startups companies looking for early stage partners? -

I m looking to get involved in a startup - but these companies are under the radar most of the time (no revenue, 1 or 2 employees/founders, zero advertising) -- How can one find one?

Two to three times a day you ask this question here: I am interested in being a silent partner to a start up company. If you know anyone looking for assistance in reaching their goals, please, have them answer below

Hi,I was in a similar situation, which I why I actually started a website called StartupPartners http://www.startuppartners.orgThe idea is to get people together that want to start something, and are missing one or more people or skills. It will be promoted heavily over the coming months, so get in there early!

New to the bussiness world. At what point do I start chargeing sales tax? I have a handyman/construction.? -

I have been doing side jobs for years but now I am stating go main stream. I have always claimed my income to the IRS but now at this point when if any do I start charging sales tax? I was living in California and now live in El Paso Texas if that makes any difference. Is there anything else I should be aware of?

Typically sales tax is collected on tangible items that you sell. Usually sales tax is not required for service work.

Contact the State Treasurer s Office. Make sure your business needs to collect and report sales tax.

Here is the link to the sales tax page at the CA Tax Service Center.http://www.taxes.ca.gov/Sales_and_Use_Ta
