I would like to start my own personal meal planning business online...? -

How would I go about starting it?Thanks.

Check out who else is offering a similar service. This determines two things - 1 that there s a demand for the service and 2 you can think about how you can do it better or in such a way that people will buy from you rather than your competitors. The next thing is to consider who you ll do it for and how you ll reach them. Do they have a proven track record of spending on this sort of thing? If they do and you can access them easily, you can start thinking about how you ll set up the business. The key things are a well written site that makes it easy for potential customers to find and, once they ve found it, it s easy for them to use.Assuming you re in the UK, speak to your local Business Link about starting up. They do a very good course on setting up websites as well as general business advice. You may need to consider having your site written for you as it s likely to have a database behind the front of it. E-commerce sites start about 1200 and the sky s the limit from there. You should be able to have something done for under 2000.Good luck!

Well, before doing anything you must develop a website. Doing this is simple. All you need is a host and domain. A host, in case you don t know, is the service that posts your site on the internet. And a domain is basically an address for your site, also known as a URL. Next, you need a website creator; these programs make it easy for new businesses to design their own website. Of course, if you re knowledgeable with HTML, doing your own coding can save you money. I recommend finding a host that provides all three of these services. Doing this will make the building of your site much more simple and smooth. Now, after you have your site comes the construction of its content. You must decide what will go in it, and pay careful attention to the quality. Without quality any traffic that comes your way will be useless and unprofitable. Take a look at other similar sites and consider what they do and how they do it. Finally, let s talk about how to make money. Since you are thinking of starting a meal planning business, I m guessing most of your site will be content-based. Meaning there is no product just knowledge being offered. Sites like these are actually quite profitable when involved in an affiliate program. Of course, all sites can benefit from them even if you do offer a product. Programs like these allow you to make money by directing targeted traffic to other sites. . I would suggest going to HTTP://WWW.BISAFFILIA.COM/where they will teach you how to use said programs. Their explanations are simple and given to you step-by-step with no charge or sign-up needed.

What Indian products would people outside of India be interested in purchasing? -

Deodorant?

dilute some indian cultures and try to incorporate them into wester civilization, too late though the main ones are already taken, from curry and spices to the religions and entertainment businesses(bollywood, indian music) of india have already been exported.

I need some tips for selling handmade items on eBay.? -

First of all here is my listing. I had to re list it.http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?VieThe first time I started the auction at 9.99 because I m hoping to sell it for at least $15 to make a profit. I also listed another similar bag with a different pattern at the same price. Neither of them sold.I m new to selling on eBay and I need some good tips. Thanks.

For starters, keep in mind that we are in a recession. Many people are unemployed (10%+) and millions of others are fearing for their jobs and/or perhaps working for lesser wages. In short, many people are buying only necessities.Regardless, if at first you dont succeed..I suggest you augment your description. Talk the item up. Add some sizzle. You add sizzle by using adjectives, i.e., words that DESCRIBE. Adjectives make prose and your items come alive. Without them, prose is dull and your items less appealing. You can even have a little fun with it. In short, make your descriptions stand out above the crowd. Make sure your pictures are clear and crisp. There are far too many pictures on ebay that are dark. If prospective buyers cant see your items clearly, your items, more than likely, will not fetch the closing prices they deserve. To remove darkness, use any photo editor to add some brightness and a wee bit of contrast. Eliminate clutter. Prospective bidders dont want to know what kind of cereal you eat or what kind of kitchen table or bedspread you have. Use a SOLID backdrop when taking your pictures as you want to focus all of the attention on your item. In short, the one and only thing you want in your picture is the item being sold. A SOLID white or light blue backdrop is best. However, there are certainly items that wont show well on a light backdrop. In these cases, use a darker backdrop. And for gosh sake, dont even think of using a plaid blanket as a backdrop for your pictures as I once saw on ebay. You should also crop the photos in your photo editor. Good pictures can add 5% to 10% to final closing prices. GOOD DESCRIPTIONS + GOOD PICTURES = GOOD PRESENTATION. This is what you should strive for.Do not limit your auctions to one country. SELL WORLDWIDE. The reason is elementary. You now have access to the largest market ebay has to offer. Limiting your auctions to only one country also limits your potential profits. A basic business tenet is, the greater the potential market, the greater the potential to maximize profits. But do note in your listing that PayPal is the only form of payment you will accept from overseas bidders/buyers. Through experience, you will learn that there are certain problem countries. Italy seems to be one of them. Mail sent to buyers in Italy very often mysteriously disappears. If this is the case, just note in your listing you sell to all countries EXCEPT (name(s) here). However, if you decide to limit sales to only one country, such as the USA, never say NO when you receive an email asking if you would ship to Taiwan, Germany, Australia or wherever. The reason is that you have a FISH ON THE HOOK! This person will bid! When he or she does, this may force a previous bidder to enter another, higher bid or force later, first time bidders to come in with higher bids. So always say YES to these emails if you want to maximize your profits. But do say that PayPal is the only form of payment you will accept from these overseas biddersTo ensure you don t take a loss, start the bidding at $14.99. That s what I would do. No one likes to lose money on something that took time to create. Your time is worth $$$$.GOOD LUCK!

In all honesty, your best bet is to go to eCRATER.com and/or etsy.com! They specialize in selling handmade items and the people can be a great help! Seriously, check them out!

Just how easy is it to open amp; run a nightclub successfully? -

Pretty much what the question is.(I been nightclubbing it looks like so much fun to just run your own.)

It s pretty easy to open and run a nightclub BUT opening, promoting, advertising, and operating a nightclub successfully is a challenge. In many cases you will have to own the building and not have tennants above or below your business. Several clubs I have worked with have had budgets in the millions of dollars yearly with about a 20%-30% profit margin dependent upon the week, number of staff, deals with liquor distributors, etc.In some cities only a few permits for clubs are issued yearly and, in many cases, they want the build-out completed, insurance paid, bonds paid, staff planned and hired, before the day your business is awarded the certificate. It took a friend 1 year to open his nightclub in Washington, D.C. and it cost him over $100,000 in expenses (mortage, product, personnel, legal expenses to fight the city, etc while it was idle) and it was a purchase of a building and a rehab that cost in the millions. It is, however, the only sliding glass roof in the area and it s a really cool club.It might be easy to have some fun working with nighclubs to do promotions. We all make fun of the folks who are the promoters but it can be a lot of fun and you might even make some scratch, get the occasional free bottle, etc if you help improve their business and drive in the right folks. It is fun to run a nightclub and even work in a nighclub BUT there is a price to pay. You are leaving when most people are fast asleep. You have a lot of good people and a few rude drunk folks. It would be best for you if you worked in the industry and had a business degree with a focus on hospitality. You will learn a lot about the requirements.

Depends on where you live and what the licensing laws are. It is not easy and it takes a fair amount of money. And a lot of work to make it succeed.

I think the question is how difficult, not how easy. Do you have a degree in anything? Are you able to take out a loan of more than $200k? If not just stick to clubbing
