i was laid off for 2 weeks and called back.but was told i had to take a 2.00 hr pay cut,is this legal?

yes, your option is either to accept the job or refuse it. it is legal to offer u at a lower wage, as sometimes existing employees have been asked for pay cut as exemplified by former GM workers, or no pay day off as exemplified in california govt employees.

I would call your local labor board, and inquire as to what your options are in this matter. I don t think they can do that! If you were laid off for more than 2 weeks, maybe - you would have lost seniority. But how do you know that they won t do this again in the future.

Yes. It is legal and I believe you have to take the job or you can t collect. You might be able to file additional unemployment to make up for your pay cut though.

I have a new site and I am advertising it on google and it costs me like $2 for every new user to register on my site, which means for me reaching millions of users wont be possible through google adsense.I know after a while existing users might cause others to join in as well, but I am thinking how can I bring in like 50,000 users in a year or so with affordable cost?I dont have a fortune to spend a lot of money on advertising, I have a budget like max $200/month.
