Costumer cancel contract after 2 months? 10 points for best answer!!!!? -

My Mom and Dad own a small plumbing company ,they have a costumer that approved and signed work that needs to be done for a restaurant,he gave a deposit that way my dad can purchase material after everything was agreed (he changed his mind many times of what he wants) 2months later he decided he didn t want any work to be done and he wants his money back (the deposit to be returned) which is ok we told him we have to deduct about 5% because my dad already purchased material and he took time to travel to his location several times,The customer is now harassing over the phone and he wrote harassing letters we explain him we will take care of it ,but he wants the full amount back after he back up from a contract what can my mom and dad do?

Well hopefully you had something in the contract that included a penalty for backing out of the contract. If you did not, or if the contract specified that you would give a full refund on cancellation, then you are pretty much screwed. Either way, if you ask for the 5%, you are going to have a really angry customer. If you have it in writing, at least you will have the contractual authority to do it though. If you do not, you might just have to eat the cost and try to recover some of the price of the material.

I agree with Christian Brown. If there is a clause in the contract governing the cancellation or early termination of the contract, then you are okay. If not (put one in for future cases), them you may own the customer a full refund.

this is why your mom and dad should have the customer sign a contract with your mom and dad before anything is done. if you don t do it this way then things like this will happen, you might want to tell your parents to seek legal counsel to solve this problem. I know of a company that will help you in this situation. i can give you the details but not here. I don;t want to be accused of violating yahoo s answer policies./ but you can connect to me at jim_tru@yahoo.com this 37 yr old company is amazing and has solved alot of problems like yours./ but it is up to you

I want to start an internt business making Gift Baskets. Do I need to list exact products by manufactuer? -

The beauty in my baskets is that they will all contain both store bought and hand made items. I d like the ability to fill the demand without the additional overhead of huge inventory or tempory price increases.

On its face, this doesn t seem wrong to me. You need to ask yourself if you are deceiving customers in any way. For instance, if you run photos of specific products that would be included in the baskets and then deliver different products, you would be on thin ice. Short of that, though, it s not unusual for manufacturers or packagers to substitute parts of equal value. The metric is something of a gut check: Does it feel to you that you are sending customers something with less value than you promised? If the items are of equal quality, you re probably fine. One caveat: Be careful how you represent what your baskets contain. I d highlight the handmade items and then offer enough flexibility in your wording and pictures to make sure customers don t feel cheated.

I would say not a bag idea to list it. Plus the only problem I would thing they can compare prices if you list everything by brands. I would say take a good picture with some brands visible but not.

Yes. It will sell better if you do. Call your handmade ones Custom personnally designed or something cool like that. Good Luck

How legit is ebay and stubhub? How do you tell if the seller will give you real usable tickets? -

(buying concert tickets in particular)

Yes. They re definitely legitimate.Make sure to pay with a secure payment method. A credit card is best. Paypal funded by a credit card is second best. Also, make sure that the seller has good feedback.Personally, I recommend checking out the venue and craigslist first. Stubhub and ebay normally have considerable markups over retail.

What are some great shopping carts for an e-shop? -

What are some great shopping carts for an e-shop? And what about accepting payment? Thanks.

BigCommerce has some good, easy-to-use shopping cart software, but I recommend it only if you need website hosting too - as their package is all-inclusive .I like PayPal for accepting online payments (credit cards, checks, cash) because you don t have to get a secure server, and most customers like and trust PayPal.Note: PayPal does work with BigCommerce and many other shopping cart programs

Can someone explain the AVON business to me? -

you can email me with info. please dont tell me to sign up if u dont answer my quetion. What is the % profit on each product ?What other ways to earn money through AVONHow i it going for you?Around how much u earn monthly from AVON

I sell AVON and I earn about 300 to 400 extra a month. You make 40% off of your first 4 campaings with the exception of items with a diamond next to them, this is usually things like shoes and purses and clothing. You can also earn money if you sign up other reps under you, although you must have at least 5 signed up to start before you can earn off of them. I have been selling for a year now and I love it. You do not have to carry any products in stock and it has a low sign up fee of $10 unless you sign up online then it is $20. If you need more answers visit www.yourhappydance.com. It is a great website for AVON reps and people wanting to become AVON reps! Good Luck! :)

My wife used to sell Mary Kay which I think works pretty much the same. The mark up on each item was 100% but she had to buy so much crap that she could not sell that she lost money each year. The only people that make money are the area reps who make a commission on all the stuff you would be stuck buying.

Avon is a network marketing company and like any network marketing company if you commit to sharing the business concept and products with enough people you will succeed. Most people were more successful after reading the success ebook below.

Different products have different percentages and how much you sell affects your percentage. Because of this I chose not to sell Avon. The campaigns change every 2 weeks so you really have to be on top of things. I went with Tupperware instead.

I work as an automotive tech i and am paid by the job. Is it legal for another employee to dictate my pay? -

Employees that are paid same as me and less qualified are allowed to hand out the work, and of course they keep the good paying work and starve who they want. Is this legal. I was not given one job yesturday but the lesser qualified team leader kept all the work for himself.

Sometimes the only recourse we have against unfair business practice is to look for another job. Let them go out of business. They may want someone that agrees with them rather than a good worker.Unemployment insurance is not always on our side. There is often office politics involved, the bosses friends get the easy high paying jobs.Try to go over their heads, email the corporate office. Even then you re fighting an uphill battle.
