Free website hosting? For tiny business in Vietnam? -

A tour guide has asked me to help him advertise his one-man business in Vietnam by setting up a website for him. Any cost is too much....(many in Vietnam live on $1/day or so). What is a good hosting site for a free web page? It would be best if I can easily upload a site for him from frontpage (which I can use) with his email address and some photos and information. It should be findable for tourists from the US and Europe, his main customers. Any suggestions for both hosting and ways to get it to pop up on searches would be helpful; I m just doing this as a favor.

You should try a directory... like www.free-webhosts.com. I actually own a free host, smmsWEB.com, if you want to check it out. But I would go with something that you need... like one that offers the certain features you need. Try and find a host with cPanel, as this will make managing your site very easy.I hope this helps!

What sells good at yard sales? -

what are some things that would be good to sell in a yard sale?

Phrased properly: What sells well at yard sales? I know that this is America where the official languages are: Cambodian, Thai, Spanish and Hindi, but proper English looks better.Yard sales are not true money makers. They re a way to salvage a few $ from things (junk) that you bought in years past. You bought at retail and are selling below wholesale. I would not advise to buy things to resell at yard sales. Things that tend to sell well are: clothes, baby toys, household goods (e.g. plates, utensils), etc. You can sell just about anything (legal).

Baby clothes, baby/kids toys/supplies, tools, dishes, and furniture.Actually, just about anything that s in good shape. I ve bought a number of different items at yard sales: nice slacks, jeans, candles, make-up, bikes, etc. You never know what people are looking for but I d say that baby clothes and furniture are the top items!

Kids clothing , car seats, baby beds, the nicer toys, etc.Young people are usually looking for bargains because they can t afford much.Women s accessories and tools sell good too.Good Luck!

Whats the different between import and export? -

import, buy from foreigh coutryexport, sell to foriegn country

Import or export, both involves sale or purchase of goods and services. In case of import, it involves a purchase transaction where, say our country, can import goods, technology and services from another country with or without bilateral terms. Export is just the other way around. For a country which exports more than she imports, it results in accumulation of foreign exchange reserves. Imports on the other had results in drainage of foreign exchange reserves. The difference between these two, that is import and export over a period of time is taken into account to reckon the balance of payment.

Import is when you get your goods from a different country.Export is when you send your goods to another country.

Well you see now... Import means to take in, and export means to put out.

Import is bringing it in export is getting rid of it

Import = buy goods in from another countryExport = sell goods out to other countries

What would happen if I didnt pay for an item I bought on ebay? -

I bought a book on ebay using buy it now. I tried to pay for it through paypal and it is saying that the seller is denying the payment. I tried everything and the payment wont go through. Paypal is the only method he accepts. What would happen if I just don t pay it? I tried asking him but he never emailed me back yet. What should I do?

Well, you might get a bad comment and not get the book. You re not going to get banned from eBay or anything, though. If he won t answer, it s his own fault, anyway. You can always leave him a bad comment.Really, though, eBay works better for the buyer than for the seller, so you have a somewhat unfair advantage. I wouldn t worry about it. At most you get a nonpaying buyer , but if the seller is denying the payment, it s his fault not yours. It s not really a big deal unless you haven t paid, like, thirty people.

When running a business from home with kids, how would you take calls from clients? -

If you had a company providing financial services and consulting and you had to work full-day from home, what details of contact would you give on your company s website, that wouldn t hurt its image? Like oh, they don t even have a phone number on their website! .Especially, if you had a 2 years old kid, who needs to sleep during the day and you sometimes couldn t be able to take a call, because you had to spend some time with the kid?One idea I have right now is to provide a call me back form and not give a phone number. If you have any other ideas, please share.

It s definitely best to have a phone number listed on the site, especially when you are offering financial services. People do tend to distrust sites without a phone number. You have a few options. Whichever option you choose it s best to have a separate line for your business or people will constantly be bothering you on your personal time. Also when you call people back, call from the dedicated business line. I ve made the mistake of returning business calls from my cell phone. They people got my cell number from their caller ID and bugged me to death. You can simply have vmail answer the calls. You can get one of those virtual systems where people call in and get an automated system, the system calls you and lets you know who s calling and you have the option of taking the call or sending it to vmail. You could hire an answering service and forward calls to them when you are not taking calls. In that scenario you can actually make it appear as though you have a secretary answering your calls. The call me back form is a good idea in addition to providing your phone number. Some people will not pick up the phone and call you, but will submit their info and wait for you to call them back.

List a phone number, but have all the calls go to voicemail. Then call the clients back at your convenience. In your voicemail outgoing message, don t word it like an answering machine message, but something like Thank you for calling XYZ Financial Services, Mr/Mrs XYZ is away from his/her desk or assisting other clients right now, but please leave your name, number and a brief message and we will return your call as soon as possible.
