You need to send your resume out to real jobs you are qualified to do. In your cover letter you need to state that you wish to work remotely, from your home office. LOTS of companies, especially in CA operate this way. They usually provide transportation for you to come in for an interview and for you to attend company meetings a few times a year, but otherwise everything is done online.
If you are an accomplished typist - word processor and have recently visited your local city college or university librarian, you can apply as a certified graduate typist, earning between $1.50 to $2.00 per page for a master or doctoral thesis. The librarian will provide you with a sample of the typing template (i.e., margin settings, font selection, page set up, etc.) in order to complete these projects using Microsoft Word. An average weekend income is about $300-$400 for two days work.Good luck!
There are no legitimate jobs. No one needs work at home people for data entry, stuffing envelopes (the one time I did stuff envelopes, I did it at their location) or assembling crafts. If you find any of these jobs offered, they are all scams wanting you to pay them for the bogus information.

one word - ResearchLook at the companies that are placed before you, type in their names into search engines and the word Scam and see what comes up. Sometimes rivals will put things on boards that are not true, and time times you will see that 20/20 or Date Line did a show on them- look at that information.Check the BBB web site and see what it says, find out the complaints and see what awards they have won.I work with a company that is in good standings with the BBB, has near a billion dollars in sales last year, and has over twenty years in business. Took me about three years to find it.If you want the companies name contact me and I will send you the contact information and you can check it out yourselfVery happy to hear about your two year old and very sad to hear about your disabled husband.
