(I have a name in mind)What exactly is a domain and do I need one?I m thinking of using a free site until the business can pay for its own, I have checked out homestead.com, and bonanzle but I am thinking of going with vista print...Any advice?Thank you!

This business checklist will make sure that you cross all your t s and dot all your i s before your business launch. Steps to Starting a Business -http://www.developer-resource.com/startiOther sites you might find helpful are: SBA - http://www.sba.gov/SCORE - http://www.score.orgSmall Business Resource - http://www.small-business-software.netBusiness Link - http://www.businesslink.gov.uk/bdotg/actGoodluck!

You need a sellers permit in your state.I am not sure if you need a LLC, but for $100 I got one for Idaho. With my business name. For the IRS you need :Federal Employer Identification Number (EIN). The EIN can be obtained by calling 1-800-829-4933 or visiting the federal website at https://sa1.www4.irs.gov/sa_vign/newFormSS4.do. I think that is it. Cindi

If you are ready with the business plan, try looking for a domain name and then register it. Create a website and host it on a server, http://www.webhostingbreak.com/just-host/. Then promote it.
