What is he minimum wages for empoyess doing clerical job on daily wages (ie contractual bais)? -

Minimum wages act. Please see the web site and select the state to get the minimum wages applicable in that state.http://www.paycheck.in/main/officialmini

There are lots of rules associated with paying people on a contractual basis. Generally, you are not allowed to pay people as independent contractors unless they are performing a task outside of your business type. For per-hour employment, the federal minimum wage applies, unless you live in a state that has a higher minimum wage or the job involves tipping. You re also required to pay your share of payroll taxes. If the job is salaried, no minimum per-hour amount is required.

That depends on where the work is done. For most of the U.S., it is set at $7.80 per hour; but some states have a higher minimum wage. For those outside of the U.S. the wage will be different.Contractual work sets an annual salery or set payment for work done within a set time period. How many hours the person must work to complete the work does not matter; all that matters is the defined work being completed within the time frame set.
