Pure opinion on my part but I would say that you are fine. If you were selling the cake pans or overlays of the images then that would be a different story but just showing and selling the cakes should be fine. Also, if you bought the overlays then they would be covered under some copyright agreement between that company and Disney.Besides, if you re violating a copyright law, then about a million other people are doing exactly the same thing. Just do a google search for Disney character cakes and you ll see thousands of sites doing the same thing. Disney obviously doesn t sell cakes on the local level so I doubt that they care. Can i use photographs of home made disney cakes on my website? -
I am currently setting up my own a catering business and i hope to put some images of my products onto a website, however some of my products will include rice paper/ icing cake toppers with disney characters etc on them, am i breaking any copyright rules by displaying photographs that display these disney images?
