I bought something on eBay and i want to use my bank account to pay for it...? -

WILL I NEED TO GET A BANK STATEMENT TO KNOW WHAT TWO DEPOSITS PAYPAL DID OR DO THEY JUST TAKE OUT MONEY WITHOUT ME HAVING TO DO ANYTHING??? PLEASE HELP

In order to use a bank account with Paypal, it must be verified. Paypal verifies the bank account by depositing two small amounts into the bank account which are required later in the verification process. Check your bank statement online or through the mail. Once you receive your bank statement with the two amounts deposited by Paypal, enter the amounts into the verification form in your Paypal account to prove that you own the bank account. Once you have proved that you own the bank account, you can now pay people with Paypal using your bank account. You can also deposit money into your bank account if you receive funds through Paypal.Hope this helps.

The two small deposits are in your Paypal account and they do that to make sure the account is valid and it belongs to you. You can get the two amounts on the phone with the automated menu but it might be a couple of days to post to your bank account. It is only a few cents each one. You are just opening a Paypal account?

They take money out of your account without doing anything. Usually if your account is new they take out $1.00 out of your account to test if it exists then they put the $1.00 back into your account. When you purchase items off of eBay they will debit the money out of your bank account.
