You want your products to be something that you are enjoy or are at least interested in and you want to know a good bit about it, After all, you ll probably be spending a good bit of time dealing with them.I think the problem that most people run into with eBay is that they don t treat it like a business. Sure, you can be a casual seller and make a little money but if you re looking to bring in $500 per week, it s going to take some work. I can only give you advice based upon my own experience. I have not had a online business thus far but am researching my options now. Find actual people who are already involved in the type of business you are interested in. It is not how much money you make, but how much money you keep that allows you to grow wealthy and then be able to invest in other business ventures that use the same premise. To conclude what I have said I would advise you to seek out people you know who are successful internet business people, and if you don t know any then talk to the people close to you who may know someone. Once you have contacted several people who are successfull at this then you need to zero in on the one or two of them who are willing to walk you through the entire process. From my personal experience, I have found the system manufactured by Schmooze to be rather solid. I m guessing you mean voice recognition as in an IVR (Interactive Voice Response) automated answer system.There are quite a few to choose from I m sure. One significant deciding factor will likely be the budget available. Another decision is whether to use a hosted service vs. having it in-house. For an in-house system I ve seen that it can cost into the thousands per port and that a hosted system is a lower cost, at least for start-up. This is based on a commercial system where software license cost comes into play along with up-front hardware, etc. As for the long term cost comparison, in-house may win out in the end but this depends on lots of variables.If low cost is a concern, one option that may be worth considering is Asterisk which is an open source (free software) PBX/VOIP system that can support IVR features. They sure can be, however, in my HOA I feel it is very fair. it is $34.00 each month and it assures that the lazy boneheads will cut the palm trees so you can walk on the sidewalks with out getting slapped in the face by a palm tree that is not trimmed and that all the lawns are groomed. I also appreciate the fact that they sweep the streets once a month and that the local law enforcement is not the main law they work in partnership with the owners of the people in the HOA that means our community, so if we are having a problem with with theft, they with the help of the people in our area work together as a team to watch for the thief and the police are not slow to come when we call. They are awesome to us as is the local cable company. I love our small town and the deals our HOA has worked out. There are other HOA s in the area that are not so community friendly and active like we are.
