How much can I make a month from 4 vending machines in a good location? I plan to expand later.? -

I am interested in opening a vending machine company. I plan to place Gatorade machines in 4 seperate gym s. How much would I be able to make a month? I plan to take it further if 4 are successful.

I ve found for the most part that gyms aren t a very good location for vending. We ve had Powerade and Vitamin Water in a few local mid size gyms (about half the size of a Gold s Gym) and the best machines do maybe $60 in a week, some have done less than $20 in a week. (That s $1 for 20oz Powerade and $1.50 for 20oz Vitamin Water) These machines really have trouble selling the product before it goes out of date.We do have a machine at a Lady Fitness that sells over $120 of Dasani a week (5 Cases) despite the fact that the machine is right in front of a water fountain. I m guessing that the customers buy the Dasani and reuse the bottles at the fountain? Either way, you ll find that gyms are really hit or miss.

Unless you re buying a previously-used route from another entrepreneur, there s no way to determine exactly how much Gatorade will be bought on a regular basis. As a possible frame of reference, you might multiply the sale price of each drink by the capacity of the machine. How many times do you have to empty the machine to cover your expenses?Which expenses are legal deductions? Also, does the company insure the machine against repair costs or liabilities in any way?

1st off you need to provide more information as in which items your selling in those machines !installing them in places is very difficult i see many in local taverns that are stale and hardly used the owners own those .25 cent candy machines !i think you better look else where for such a real time biz because as per report these vending machines are losing money today they operating in the red !see forbes business report

Some things to consider.A good new beverage machine costs $2,000Yes you can buy junk for a lot less. They can only be transported standing upor you will ruin the condenser. If you don t know how to repair themyou will have to hire someone. I charged $75per hour door to door 10 years ago.The best locations are controlled by big vendors.

a vending machine in a typical environment makes about 50-70 dollars per day. So 60dollars x 28days x 4 machines = $6720dollars.
