Selling item on ebay help - please? -

hi- im selling a pair of boots i baught for 175$ on ebay.im not satisfied with the ending bid i got on the boots. so instead i dont want to sell them for that price-is there a way where i can not sell them, there my boots. i think i have the right to not sell them for a price thats not really anything..

Unless you put a reserve on the boots the only way not to sell them to the high bidder is lie. If it s worth it for you to be a liar say you no longer have the item but never use Ebay again.

How would you feel if you had invested 7 days of your time bidding for something; only to be told no sale. If you do not honour the winning bid you will likely get a neg (and rightly so)Nobody can force you to sell the item (no not even ebay and their legally binding contract )However you put your selling and buying ability at risk and can be booted off if you do it too oftenYou should always start an auction at the least you would be willing to accept

Nope. When you list an item on eBay, you agree to sell it for the price of the winning bid. The way to get a price you think is fair is to start the listing at a high enough price to satisfy you, or to set a reserve price. When you listed the item, you made a legal commitment to sell it. Honor that commitment.

Sorry, you listed the auction and must sell to the highest bidder. Next time set a reserve price to make sure you get the price you want.
