Most charities will be delighted if you make a time commitment. That is, if you spend two hours every week, let alone every day, they d be very happy. They are always short of volunteers. Even if you do nothing but sweep up and clean up, or file things, or answer phones, that will be a great help to the charity.I ve done things like volunteer to reshelf books in my local library. The area libraries are also always looking for people to read the shelves , which is the term they use for people who just check the shelves to see if any books or other materials have been put in the wrong place. These are easy to do, and they are a big help to the library, an incredibly big help. The local animal shelters are always delighted when I come in to help clean up the places. SOMEBODY has to scoop cat litter and walk the dogs. Again, it s something that s easy to do, and they need people to do it regularly. Some charities do things like have people gift wrap items in stores, and the people who have their items wrapped make a donation. If you try to sell home made food, be aware that most cities and counties will require you to have a foodhandler s license, at the very least, and might also require that you prepare foods in a commercial kitchen, not a home kitchen.
well, i had to do the something along the lines as that.i had a big hit with charm bracelets. n around christmas time i did christmas colors(red and green) i also sold some at the local school and sold them as their colors(blue and gold) i also had great luck with baking my ginger snaps. i would bake them pack them and sell them by the dozen. try going to go school football games and sell them there. u can also sell candy. chocolate bars, m ms, hershey at those football games. a lot of buyers! trust me.
well why take other peoples money use your old cloths and give that to the charities or ask your parents unless your a adult then take some cans of food and give that to them send medicine and books toys ect.... i meen why take other peoples money when you could just use these items . but if you really want to sell may i sugest you sell home made cookies.
those are cool ideas, here are some suggestions of my own...1. art- you could have fun making sculptures or paintings and get money for it2. candles- or something scented, people love that.3. socks- not my best idea4. bags- or purses, something specialy designed5. food- some sort of fresh home made food like sandwiches or maybe some flower or vegetable seeds youve been gardening6. old stuff- you could put out some unwanted items7. pencils- or stationary, though im not sure how to make that.hope that helped!
Why don t you try this?Make a good home cooked meal and then go to office buildings and sell them for some cash. I can promise you that will definitely work.If you really want to sell something though, try creating a Gift Basket for the Holiday seasons. Nothing draws people closer then a nice gift basket complete with all the supplies necessary to create a great holiday.
how about leather boots, since its coming up to xmas, people mite want to buy a present for someone, and also they keep your feet nice and warm. cant afford real leather? who cares just sell some normal boots that look warm and of good quality, hope my help works x
How about you make some buns at home or cake, cookies, burgers or anything like that and sell it, so basically you just buy the ingredients and sell it for a bit more than all the ingredients price.
Check into coupon books. Prepaid phone cards also go good on college campuses. Take a look at the link below for a source for coupon books. Good Luck!
