When I started my business, I consulted an attorney and the health department of my city. Also consult your city hall building dept. for code concerning the laws for starting a business.

The easiest way would be to find a bakery or the like that s for sale or try to team up and rent space at an exisitng business. With the market the way it is today, used restaurant equipment is available at very reasonable prices. It will also take a great cupcake recipe :)
