What does it take to orpate a landscape business? -

The answer depends on what you want to do with your landscape business. Do you simply want to mow lawns? Well I have seen people start such businesses even without a mower and use the customers mower. It takes very little upfront expense to get started. As you grow you will want to take on bigger jobs and scale up your equipment, but initially it takes very little to get started. If you want to read more about starting a lawn care landscaping business here is further readinghttp://www.gopherforum.com/forum-index.phttp://www.lawnchat.com

Well you really need to understand your market. Do a little research into the demand. Make sure you have the resources (human labor, equipment and accounting software) and then make sure you are financially covered for at least 3 to 6 months. Nothing sinks a business faster then under capitalization. Use financing as a last resort if your business model is untested. You can make it with whats called customer financing which is where you use your customer base as a method to sustain you through receivables or contracts. And most importantly, don t go it alone. Use professionals to assist you in areas that you aren t knowledgeable in. Best of luck in your endeavors.
