I have $1000 to start a small business. What are the best options for me? -

I am not interested in any Internet Business opportunities.

My Answer,if you think you can do decorative concrete and mix pigments to color co-ordinate mortar, walk paths, stones and poured concrete, new home sub-divisions never put out much of a front or back slab. The chances of growing a weekend hobby into a full time career during the week is infinitesimally increased by the work ethic, your artistic ability, and being able to understand through drawings you will need to do so what you think they want is exactly what customers see in their minds eye that they want. There are some very nice molds you put on top of wet poured cement that when removed looks like stone and coloring the cement to match a certain look is relatively easy. taking notes like how many portions (exactly)of pigments per cubic feet of cement gets what color and having a good swatch set to show homeowners will get you work no one else pays attention too. Realtors and realty speculators will use your service to upgrade a homes value so you make out and they make more money when they sell. Good luck. But honestly. I would open a smoothie stand offering liquid vitamin and nutritional supplement additives (all at additional charges) in a fruit, ice and yogurt based carry out smoothie that adults, high schoolers and the college students would frequent quite often.

no actually thanks be to you, when questions are asked properly they are pretty easy to involve a good answer. Happy to be of speculative direction. Honestly if I ever decide marketing and design, sales has lost it s direction I am opening smoothie bars in major airports. Report Abuse

Unless you are starting a lemonade stand, you are going to need a lot more than $1000
