I know they change their catalogs a lot. We change ours twice a year and it can be a hectic time for ordering. I can t imagine doing it as often as Avon does.On the flip side, it s a product people know and trust. Unfortunately most of them already have an Avon rep they love.It s a lot to think about but being a part of your own business is really rewarding. I hope you find something you love!Lisa
I sold Avon for about a year before giving it up. You have to pay for your samples and brochures. I pushed a stroller all over town delivering brochures and only had about a 2% response rate. I made maybe $20-$30 per cycle. People got sick of me coming around. It wasn t worth the time I put into it, I would have done better getting a part time job (I was already working full time).It s a lot of hard work, long hours, etc. I found that the women who did well were not at the bottom entry level. It wasn t for me.
