Electronics.... It does not matter how bad the economy gets, people always want to be cool. You can go to the poorest ghetto and they will all have ipods blackberries blu rays... Well and gold chains $150 gym shoes lol but stick with the electronics.
It depends on your target market. Buying perishable goods in bulk may cause you problems. Think clothing etc.
