You can really do just about anything from home. The difference is that you end up being your own boss in most instances. That is not a problem but it does mean you have to either be good at running a business, find someone else to work with that is good at running a business, or just figure it out. I for example started a business from home and have never worked in an office while doing it. It is a home improvement business. We do online marketing and door-to-door marketing and then, obviously do the work at the clients house. If you want to do a service business it can work the same way. If you want to have a retail business then you can do only online advertising. Really you just decide what product you want to sell and then find a way to market it (make it stand out from other similar products, either by providing a better product or extra services along with the product). Things I look for in a business are free or low cost to join, free or low cost to run, some level of training and/or support, a website or information on how to create one, and a simple duplicatable business success system. The company and people should support and train you because when you make money they make money. I really like businesses that can be run part time, from home, and online.
