Where can I find a computer related job...without having to pay money for the information.? -

There is a website with mostly technical jobs called http://www.dice.com.If you are a systems analyst, coder, networking or IT professional, that is a good site to visit. It is like Monster.com and Careerbuilder.com, except that the site is 90% connected to the computer industry.

Most businesses that post jobs, pay to do so. If you are being asked to pay for this information, they you are getting scammed. If you are willing to move, online job searches are good because they will search the nation. Remember to adjust pay grades for cost of living in the area. A $50,000 job in the mid-west is more valuable when a mansion costs $300,000 than a $100,000 job on the east cost where a small apartment will cost you as much.If you want to stay in the local area, there should be career/job centers in the local area. Find a close university or vocational school and ask them. They probably have one on campus. Computer Related Job is vague. If you are educated, I suggest software engineering. www.avistainc.com is the site for where I work. There is a jobs link.

Just look at all the usual job seeking sites -- Monster.com, CareerBuilder, jobCentral.com, etc. Also check the classified ad section of the newspapers in the cities where you want to work. You might consider building a LinkedIn profile as well, and see if you can network with any acquaintances you find there.
