Many schools are clamping down on candy and junk food at school, also on students selling stuff on the premises, so first be sure it is ok for students to sell stuff, specifically candy, if it is not a school organization s fundraiser.People are pinching pennies these days, so if you are buying at a retail store, chances are that you cannot mark up the candy enough to really make any money. You d be better off finding neighbors, etc, who need a babysitter, someone to help put up holiday decorations, wash/detail cars, rake leaves, and other sorts of services. You could be making enough to put away hundreds (even thousands) for college, not just one pair of pants.

What are some good ideas/methods for selling candy at school? -
I am trying to sell candy at school to buy some 45.00 Coogi Pants. I know you have to spend money to make money but I do not want to spend too much. I have an idea, where I can get a pencil box ( plastic container) and put the candy in there and sell, and when people get there candy I will put it in a plastic bag... Am I doing too much, Have any better ideas?
