What is the best POS system for a small resale shop? -

If it s small, do you really NEED a POS system? Perhaps all you need is a good inventory book and a cash register.EDIT: Have you LOOKED at how much a QuickBooks POS system costs? Basic with hardware is about $1250!! (search through Yahoo or Froogle and see for yourself). That doesn t even include the setup fee if you hire someone to do it, or the time you must spend to train yourself. Frankly, unless you can actually JUSTIFY such an expenditure, I d say forget it. You can computerize SOME of the operation, like accounting (in which case, just QuickBooks is enough), but I don t see why you d need a POS system for a one-person shop (or even a three-person shop).

Get Quickbooks POS by Dell or am HP see link below. Quickbooks POS is a must if you what access to report data and monthly, yearly reports and makes financial statement simpler. You can also barcode your inventory and have access to credit card, Debit cards and gift cards. Good luck

none.use a used cash register and keep little in it.
