About paypal accounts? -

I really need help setting up a paypal account. It s just for a super small business.I am in a group selling t-shirts... not that many shirts out yet, but I wanted to make the website have a paypal payment method. We dont ship or anything, we like make a pickup location and all........anyways I was going to add a paypal account.I have a bank of hawaii debit card, which means that I have a banking account too correct? What kind of banking account is this? Savings or Checking??????Also, if I already have money in this account, can I still use it as my paypal account??? So if somebody buys a shirt, the money will get transferred in my account then correct? So I just go to paypal.com and sign up as BUSINESS and get my account verified, and is that all ??

I think you should give the option from a marketing standpoint. PayPal offers you the chance to offer shipping worldwide, and significantly increase the pool of clients available to you, so if you do add PayPal, it would be a good idea to offer shipping. Most importantly it offers the chance for the client to buy using a Credit Card. How do you fund your Debit Card? The account from which you fund it will be your savings (usually) account. Just in case you should probably check with your bank. For a business account you need to verify your PayPal account, which is really straight forward. They send you two transactions of under 5 or 10 cents (if memory serves me correctly) and you need to enter the reference number on your statement. Anyway, by the sounds of things you already know this step :)The flip-side to PayPal is that you get charged a fee. Have a look at the comparison between business and personal accounts, and compare the fees based on what volume you will be selling at. Just a suggestion, one way to counter this is to price in shipping and fees for PayPal, and then offer a discount for pickup equivalent to the fees.

Hi,Yep, that s about as easy as it gets. Go to paypal.com, sign up.You create your sales buttons and add them to your website in the Merchant Services section. When your account is established, (you ll need to tie it to a bank account), anda sale is made using paypal, they hold the money until you transfer it.You can even use your Paypal like a debit card, online shopping, etc.

Follow their sign up instructions, it s very easy. I had mine up and running and verified in 4 days (it was about 15 minutes of work, they take time checking the account then have you online and ready).
