I think its good for the community because it forces the business to come up with new ways to beat the competition. In other words, innovate, meaning come up with something new.if there wasn t competition from other companies, would the business bother to offer something new ?how far would the technology world have gone without competitors ? think about how far we ve gone in the last 20 years, and how much of that was because we needed something new to keep us entertained :)
