I am not sure if you are asking if you can search some one at your nightclub or if a nightclub has the right to search you. Anyways I don t know if the can force a search upon you BUT in most states, if you have a liquor license, I assume you the place you are referring to as the night club sells alcohol, therefore they would have a license. A holder of a liquor license and their employees they can refuse anyone they want for any reason without explaining why. So if you or someone else refuses a search they do not have to let you/some one else in.
the constitution is the highest law of the land...or at least it is suppose to be....a search and seizure requires a warrent.... it seems illegal if they do this... i mean they re not cops and cops can only do that if they have probable cause like you re drunk or you say you have a weapon....
you are entering a private business, of course they can - don t bring in anything illegal and you have nothing to worry about
