I am a high school student, and I need help financing a patent. Could any one help? -

I am not asking for any money, but instead asking if any one knows of any resources, such as government grants, that could cover the fee s for a non-provisional utility patent? My invention works and I have working models if that helps.

Hi Alex,Before spending any money, you should do some searching of patents and applications on your own. Some of my best ideas were patented by someone else, sometimes years ago.For US patent searches, you can go here:http://patft.uspto.gov/For the complete image of recent patents, you will need to install a TIFF viewer. The help button, when the image fails to appear, leads to a couple of free viewers.

You can get sba financing with decent credit.http://www.borregospringsbank.com/sba_express.asphttp://www.superiorfg.com/main/Default2.aspxAs long as you turn in all your paperwork it takes about 2-3 to get money directly deposited into your bank account. There is a fee but it is only paid if you get funded. No money no fee!
