If 2 people want to invest in my lil business and make it big...? -

and we split profit 3 ways evenly (because I have no money, and they do and are willign to invest) but they are boyfriend and girlfriend... If they get married does that mean we rewrite the contract to split 50/50?Because if, when they marry and they are still getting 33% EACH.. 66% combined... I m left with my little 33% and I m the one who thought up the product, created it, everything. They just marketed it and got employees to make them. (because my lil fingers dont work that fast)Or am I way off? Just seems a bit unfair if they get married and are bringing in more than double the income of me... the owner...

I honestly cannot see where you are coming from here. At present, you are willing to give away 66.66% of any profits in order to receive Capital Investment in return for assistance in Marketing, Employment matters and Manufacturing. You do not have this level of Capital, and reading between the lines, without Investment you are unable to take your product to Market. So what if they get Married? There is still the 66.66% owned by the same people that you originally took the money off, so what in real Business Terms has changed? You can t expect to have your Cake and eat it, so surely it is better to have 33.33% of something with your Backers still on board, than a 50/50 split of nothing.Think very seriously about this I beg you!

Ha ha. I just got a laughAren t they separate individuals even if they are married. Nice you are trying to consider them as one. Talk to them and ask for 50-50. If you are so confident about yourself just get some other investors. I am a professional investor, can you just email me about your design, productGood luck

Either you get them to split 50/50 or try working with less money, if you can t you might have to borrow some.
