If you mean like hot dog vendors, my take isThey re out there making enough money to continue to conduct business, that means someone s buying from them, which means they fill a market need and therefore are pretty much an integral part of economies.

I live in NYC and I think they are great. Everyone eats from the vendors. They offer better prices and I like helping the small businesses out.
