Where/How do I register my company name? -

I want to register my company name so that is recognised legally in the UK. I have seen some website I can do it on but I m not sure if there are any legal or more authoritative steps I need to take?

All companies have to be registered at Companies House (see their website). If you are not a limited company, there is nowhere to register your company name as the register of business names was abolished many years ago.
