I sell on Ebay all the time.Open a checking account just for Ebay use.Dedicate a credit card to Ebay use.Open a PayPal account. Don t accept any form of payment except PayPay. They will ask.Always submit a good picture. If your item is high dollar, submit multiple pictures.Answer all questions asked you in a professional manner.Have fun.Ship as soon as you get paid.
It s really easy, eBay just walks you through it. You probably need to set up a paypal account to receive payments. It helps if you have a digital camera. Take really good pics of your stuff. People are concerned about buying from someone with a 0 for history. So, either buy a few things first so you can get some experience, or sell less expensive items first, so people aren t afraid to send you their money. Remember the cost of shipping. Lighter or smaller items that can be shipped first class mail in a small box or envelope are usually cheap to ship, so they can be a higher profit.
Its more than, create a page and viola. You need to read all the terms, expectations, guidlines to keep you safe as a seller, and the rules on how to deal wtih buyers, some are good, some are liars. You need to always, use shipping confirmation, it doesnt need to be the type they sign, its that the postman notes that he has infact delieverd it, it costs .60 to use, and provides proof of mailing, and that will help if someone says u didnt mail it. Always describe the items realistically. One great photo is fine, or more if necessary depending on what you are selling. The terms on ebay change alot, read the newest policies, read the forums so that you can see the issues you might encounter. I love Ebay and buy alot on there, never sold, but I do know, that when I was going to sell a few items, there was alot of reading to do, to understand how it all works, how long it is before u get your money, just cause they paid, you do not get the money that fast, and find out the terms on how you will handle refunds, and the language to use, sold as it, may or may not be valid, find all that info on Ebay, good luck. You create the page, they offer many add ons for small prices, dont go too crazy the ten cents here, fifty cents there and all the sudden your investing too much.
Be carefull about what you are selling, because, if you can t provide the source of those product, ebay may suspend your account.
