If u open a quot;studioquot; through an adult cam site do you need a business license? -

So if I start an on-line cam studio, and have the models work from home. through one of the many adult cam sites out there that offer this option, would I need a business license or more so yet a Sexually Oriented Business License ?I could see me possibly needing a business license, as I would be responsible for paying the models. But technically they re still providing the service to that site. none of these sites really check to see who the studios are. Just that everyone is 18+. I d love to here from someone who s done this before. I know I could do it start easily. I just don t want to be skirting the law.

No, you don t need a license and a model would be stupid to pay you part of her hard earned 50% or 35% commission she earns from entertaining on a cam site...especially IF she is in her own home...using her own equipment, cable line, computer etc...what on earth would be in it for her to pay you? What? To introduce her to the wonderful world of online camming? LOL Come on! Most studios are run in Eastern Europe where the girls either do not have the financial ability to buy their own equipment, pay for cable to be installed or they live with family/or do not have the privacy they need to work. Running a studio is not what you would be doing, you would basically just be referring them to a cam site they can work on. If you are not truly running a studio..meaning you lease out office space or something where you are there to sign the girls into their chat rooms to work..they are going to have access to their own screen names and passwords to sign on...if they have any brains, they will see they can sign up on their own and cut you out of the loop altogether. If you are going to *open a studio* and have a bit more control over your business, you better rent an office or some sort of space. As your plan stands now, there is nothing in it for the girls that they couldn t do themselves.
