If you mean those work from home jobs good luck almost all are scams. However if you are good at writing and researching you could go to one of the websites where high school and college kids go to buy papers.
Think of something you re good at that you can offer as a service (i.e. house cleaning, photography etc.). Print up a bunch of flyers and start peppering the neighborhood. If you re good at the service your offering, the business will come.
