Can a Plaintiff go after my LLC if they sue me personally? -

I know that if someone sues an llc, they cannot go after the personal assets of the partners - beyond the value of the respctive llc, but if someone sues a partern can they go after the partner s interst in the llc?Let s say for example that one of the partner s runs over a pedestrian on the sidewalk and they sue him for more than the coverage limits on his auto insurance. Could that plaintiff then go after the defendant s stake in an llc in which he is a member, or is this protected?

Yes, they can attach any $ going from the LLC to the partner. Also, there is the legal concept of piercing the corporate veil ., which means that the LLC could be at risk, depending upon what actions have been taken by this partner
