I just took my son there and they are asking for alot of money for pictures and i want to know if the agency is a scam?

hey, I suggest u see http://www.ebiznus.com for this.I hope this will be resolving your problem you can also browse more for this on answers.yahoo.com but i think you better look at what i suggested instead of wasting ur time.Best of luck.

Legitimate agencies never charge you for pictures. Period. After you have signed a contract with an agency, you will have to pay for your own comp cards and a few photos to get your portfolio started, but these are never paid through an agency. Any decent agency will provide you with a list of 5 or more recommended photographers in your area that you contact on your own, negotiate a price, and pay the photographer. Any agency forcing you to use their own in-house photographer or one specific photo studio is nothing but a Photo Mill http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photo_MillIf you are being forced to use an in-house photographer, or being asked to pay for photos before you even have a signed contract (which you take home and have a lawyer review before you ever sign it) then you are not dealing with a legitimate agency
