You get in trouble with ebay; possibly suspended
Bank deposit? Sounds like you may be in the UK?These instruments are rarely used in the US - banks will often charge the receiver a fee for them.PayPal in US allows only PayPal or other authorized electronic payment. If you shipped without delivery confirmation or insurance you are almost certainly OUT the item, and will also have to return the money.Insurance and Deliver Confirm doesn t protect the buyer - it s for the benefit of the seller. I ve sent out hundreds of cheaper items without insurance, but all had DC, which PayPal will accept as proof of delivery. If you DID in fact use DC ( or its equivalent in the UK) PayPal may deny her claim. You have to have proof that you used it. And, correspond with this buyer ONLY thru eBays Ask Seller a Question function, to properly preserve proof of correspondence. Your own email won t do it with PayPal
Check on ebay s site first. Other people I am sure have had this experience and there are questions and answers where you can get info from other buyers.I NEVER send out a parcel unless it is insured or proof of delivery is purchased. I add that into my costs.Did you check your buyers feedback. Do they have a 100%. Maybe they have done this before.
