I ve sent out hundreds of cheaper items without insurance, but all had DC, which PayPal will accept as proof of delivery.If you DID in fact use DC ( or its equivalent in the UK) PayPal may deny her claim. You have to have proof that you used it. And, correspond with this buyer ONLY thru eBays Ask Seller a Question function, to properly preserve proof of correspondence. Your own email won t do it with PayPal
Check on ebay s site first. Other people I am sure have had this experience and there are questions and answers where you can get info from other buyers.I NEVER send out a parcel unless it is insured or proof of delivery is purchased. I add that into my costs.Did you check your buyers feedback. Do they have a 100%. Maybe they have done this before.
