Now selling yours products is not a big issue on internet. Previously i use to sell my products on ebay but from past year, selling on ebay has become more tedious due to its more commission. So i have also tried other options such as free classified websites. Not only these sites offer free ad listings but exposure to these ads are also good. I am listing few sites for the reference such as http://www.craigslist.com and http://www.hindlist.com which offers country wise and city wise listings for all products. There are even more sites which can help to sell your products free of cost.
Consider consigning your rugs at area rug shops and/or go directly to rug stores and ask them if they would be interested in your products. Besides being a good learning experience for you in terms of the market and networking, you may be able to get the best price for your wares this way as well. Selling rugs online can be difficult as in photographs, damaged goods look the same as mint condition goods. If you have excellent quality rugs, you may not be able to compete price-wise with those who are selling damaged and worn pieces.
