How can I charge off a customers account (i.e., put it on their credit report)? -

I own a lawn care business in Florida. We have a customer who was a real you-know-what about paying and she still owes us like $80 (plus late fees over the course of the past year, since it s been over a year since we serviced her two properties). I know it doesn t sound like much, but we have several customers who keep giving us problems about paying, so I want to find out the best way to handle this. It s not a large enough debt to sue over, so I guess my only two options are selling it to a collection agency and getting paid like 10% of the debt (not enough to even go through the hassle) or charge it off and put it on their credit reports. How would I go about doing this? That may not even be worth my time, either.... :/ Thanks in advance.

Find a collection agency that accepts small past due amounts. You will need proper documentation (invoices, work accomplished, billing history, etc..), and a signed contract from the buyer, most likely with their social security number on it.
