Is selling reconstructed tee shirts copyright infringement? -

Does the fact that you have to purchase the shirt first out rule copyright infringement? Which leads me to another question: is selling self-printed band shirts/clothes copyright infringement?

The answer to your second question is definitely YES. The first question, you would probably need to consult a copyright / trademark attorney. It s difficult to say because second hand stores get away with this sort of behavior. If you re not printing them yourself, and you are obtaining them legally, then it s possible that it would be OK. Again, I would consult an attorney on this to prevent problems down the road.

you can t print your own band T-shirts - that is definitely copyright infringementwhat the heck is a reconstructed T-shirt and why would anyone want something like that? do they come with pre-sweated armpits?

Ask yourself the question Am I making money from someone Else s idea If you answer yes then do not do it.You cannot take a plain tshirt, put a known band s name or logo on it, for sale. You can decorate a tshirt with your own ideas.
