What do I do about threatened negative feedback on Ebay? -

I sold an item and the buyer received the cd and wants his money back. He has asked me to pay him money back then will send the cd to me. His problem is that in the title of the auction, I wrote the name of the cousin of the lead singer who is also famous. This is called a tag. This famous cousin also wrote songs on the album and performed on the album though name is not included in the liner notes. The buyer says that this is a fraud and he will leave a negative feedback if I don t pay him first. He has 10 feedbacks and I have over 3000 feedbacks and he gives me advice that I shouldn t do that. Do I have no choice but to give money back and risk not getting my item back or do I call Ebay?

Did he opened the CD already? If not, ask him to send it back first and then you give him his money back. You can always exchange responses through Ebay, remember? That way both camps will have proofs of conversation and agreement. If he insists to do it his way, let him do it. You can defend yourself once he posts a negative feedback. Besides, there is nothing much he can do. PayPal do not give refunds to CDs, so it s always the buyer who s at the losing end. And be brief and clear when posting ads. Sometimes, people just buy things and are too lazy to read and analyze.

let him leave it, ebay also give u a chance to explain ur side on ur ebay profile....also u can make a complaint to ebay which i highly recommend I m sure they can block him
