Yes. Professional jobs above all else will notice. if they are noticably visible (hands, neck, face) you probably wont get past the interview. It s not discrimination, it s just the way they see you as not being serious about the job.
yes actually, its not right, but people with, tattoos may be turned down for certain positions especially if it is for a serious business position. Often people will profile you on your looks. the rule of thumb on tattoos is if you cannot hide them with long sleeves and a pants for your regular work weeks, then it will effect any management jobs or specialty office jobs that require college education, basically white collar positions you may be denied for. If you have difficult to hide lewd tattoos (nudity, bad language etc...) you will probably not be hired even for blue collared jobs in customer service.
I would say a person who has many visible tattoos will definitely have a harder time finding a job. I do think people accept tattoos, BUT, sometimes people just don t want to see a bunch of ink on someone. Most of the time you have to look really close to even be able to make out what is on a tattoo. Many people are intimidated by a person with tattoos.
Most people..those that do not have tatoos usually...do not find tattoos attractive. Most interviewers just see them..depending on what it is..if it s about family and rembering someone..they probably won t care. But if it s real flashy and un attractive, they will just throw your application out. Sorry for the trouble.. Good luck!!
Yes having visible tattoos can prevent you from getting a job. I have a little one on my wrist so I can cover it up with a band aid, but if you can t you may not get it.
